Joe Thuney out for the SB. It was a long shot that he would be able to play but it always sucks losing an all-pro player. Allegretti should be good vs the run but he's a mauler and not a technician like Thuney. Interested to see what they do with Kadarius Toney. Nate Taylor- one of the better writers that covers the team and has a good pulse on the them- said that he thinks the only way Toney is active is if he returns punts. That's a hell of a boom or bust situation but I'd rather see that then him get snaps at WR.

And Jerick McKinnon is listed as questionable for the game...which I find weird because I don't know if they're going to activate him instead of Skyy Moore or Toney, or it's just a bluff so that the 49er's had to study more film. Hope he can go- even if it's for 5-10 snaps.

None of them were great from start to finish so it went to the guy on the team that was killing the top teams at the end of the year. None of the QBs were great this year which makes the near unanimous MVP even weirder.
