Disappointing way to end a season.
I originally viewed this teams run as “they were thriving in spite of really tough weather and tough defense”. Hindsight 20/20, it was probably more so that they were thriving because of it.
The blindside rushers have been a problem all post season, and it makes sense that it caught up to them by giving Maye the yips and taking some bad sacks.
I’m optimistic though because there’s so many rookies and lots of cap space.
It was a really, really fun season to watch. Going from “if a miracle happens they might make the post season” to “they are in the superbowl” is fuckin crazy. I can’t wait for next season.
