The market reset. He's asking for a raise, not a new deal. If they're going to pay Purdy, they need to keep Williams. As of right now, he would be a bigger loss than Aiyuk.

I don’t disagree he would be a bigger loss, but the market “resets” twice a year. Too bad, he shouldn’t have signed such a long contract. Thats on him and his agent.

CMC and Brittle are hard working men who will prioritize winning and friendship over money. The other guys are way too explosive to give a shit tho imo.

I nearly always side with the player in contract situations but hes in the wrong here, imo. He just got a deal. Hes old as fuck and is getting banged up now. Hes made $168,000,000 already and his team is a legit Super Bowl contender. Very legitimately could have cost his team their #1 receiver because hes demanding a deal already.

Just seems like a shitty thing to do right now imo.
