Russ matched Mahomo statistically last year and Denver paid him to go away. Russ is only 11 missed holding calls and 3 gifted 3rd down penalties per game away from being a Super Bowl contender.
He matched him by being off about 1300 yards but sure. Tds/ints he had a down year certainly

He had turnovers because his offense was absolutely dog shit until they fired their OC, and he still led the league in total TD's. It's like people don't even watch games. Nobody was getting open, the run game didn't work, the offensive line was dog shit. Yes, he had like 3 really bad games, but that doesn't encapsulate the season.

You're only showing MVP voting is even more retarded of Dakota and Turdy were above GOAT Allen

Lamar got carried by Roquan Smith last year.
Bro he's led the league in turnovers since 2018 (his rookie year). Even if we dismiss his two bad early years, he still leads the league in turnovers since turning good in 2020.

The idea that the only reason he had turnovers this year was because of 10 games with Ken Dorsey is crazy.

Mahomes, Allen, Allen.

But his TDs have no effect on whether or not he's a turnover machine or why he didn't win MVP last year. That's a strawman.

I'm not arguing Josh isn't a great player. I think he's awesome, specifically for those TDs. I have him #3 personally and I wouldn't even argue someone who has him at #2 (on par with Mahomes is out of line, but I'm a Chiefs fan).

My only objection was to the idea that Lamar is somehow crazy to even be in the discussion, when we quite literally just got together and voted on the best player - and he won lol.

The idea (thanks sleepy joe) that having an inept OC isn't detrimental to an offense is asinine at best. There are very few players who dictate installs and game planning. There is Peyton Manning, and then another guy also named Peyton Manning. Nobody else has had that much control of an offense since the 70s.

You cant say “the most turnovers since 2020” then go year by year for TDs lmao.

The answer is Allen has the most TDs. And does it on the worse team of the bunch.

Lamar had an objectively sub par year and got carried to 1 seed by the best LB in the league (GOATquan)

Lamar did not win the MVP award because he was a better player than Josh Allen. He wasn't even better than Jared Goff.

What do you mean I went year by year?

Mahomes lead in TDs since 2018, Allen since 2020, and Allen since last year. Those are the same stretches I referenced for Allen's turnovers.

And again, the TDs still have nothing to do with wtf we were talking about, so I just answered it as honestly as I could.

Bro, I don't think I'm going to convince you that Lamar is better than Allen, as you seem to be really high on him. And that's okay, because I think your position is fair.

My question to you is - How many QBs do you have ahead of Lamar?

You can't convince me because Lamar isn't. It's got nothing to do with whether or not I like Josh Allen lmao

Josh Allen
Patrick Mahomes
Joe Burrow
Justin Herbert
Jalen Hurts
Jared Goff
Caleb Williams

Do I think Lamar has higher upside than Hurts and Goff? Absolutely.

You think a guy who hasn't played in a regular season game is already better than a two-time MVP?

We are worlds apart, my friend, but I can respectfully agree to disagree.

I will say I now understand your position on Lamar at 2 being crazy, if you have him at 8.

Yes, Caleb Williams is the darker, slightly shorter, more handsome bi-racial baby Jesus inspired by Aaron Rodgers 2.0.

Lmr is a top 10 QB, with a top 5 QB upside. GOAT Allen, Mahomo, Herbert, and BurWOAT are clearly above Lmr.

You forgot Bo Nix at 2 and Will Levis at 3.
