I snapped an ankle walking down a wet hill at a concert. Luckily I was wasted, but I was drunk enough that I thought I could walk it off. One step and I was on the ground again. Guy watching nearby got up and ran for help. I downed a water bottle of Jagermeister that I had in my pocket and everything else took care of itself.

Like I said when they paid him, I'd want to see 1 more season of great play before I'd pay Love all that money.
Any responsible GM would do that. People say dumb shit like "but he'll be more expensive and go against the cap" like the cap doesn't perpetually raise regardless. Even at his peak he wasn't a top 5 QB. If you don't have a guy who can break that echelon you just have to get another QB anyways. You don't wanna be stuck with a Dak.

Gute tried to have best of both worlds by trying to win now (2020 - 2022) and prepare to win in the future post-Rodgers. You just can't have it both ways, IMHO. He literally had no choice but to pay Love this past off-season. It is what it is.

Maybe a bum ankle is the perfect remedy to keep JaJordan from throwing off his back foot? lol.

"Drrrrrp, that's not how we operate in Packerland."

What rebuilding Packers should and shouldn't emphasize during rest of 2023

He literally did though. They just tore the team down and have a bunch of young talent. It's easy to build a team with a cheap QB. He put himself in that position with the stupid fucking draft pick. Last year they overproduced and he finally hit on his picks. So he's trying to establish Jordan as the QB of the team, when in reality its a lofty assumption. He could still end up being good. I'm just not willing to say he's the next guy because Dan Quinn is a fucking moron.

In slow motion, you can see the knee pop

Eerily similar story, snapped my ankle in half on my 21st birthday. Wasted beyond belief and took a Side Russian Legsweep with my right ankle planted in the ground, thought I could walk it off. It didn't take care of itself though, it happened on Saturday night I went to the ER Monday. The doctor told me I was a idiot, for thinking something like that was just a bad sprain. They had to do surgery to reset the bones, and 3 months later everything took care of itself.
