League sent the guidelines proposal, and shocker, the biggest sticking points are money and preseason games. Now there will be one preseason game which Im sure no one will complain about.

But lolololol at the last panic on both sides. Truly hilarious.

Are players gonna be allowed to wear social justice slogans on their jerseys like NBA? That would be fun, especially if WE WUZ KANGZ is an option

Kung flu vaccine is looming. Bet its out by Thanksgiving.

Trials involving 1,077 people showed the injection led to them making antibodies and white blood cells that can fight coronavirus.

The findings are hugely promising, but it is still too soon to know if this is enough to offer protection and larger trials are under way.

The UK has already ordered 100 million doses of the vaccine.

In regards to sports, we normally talk that elite athletes in their mid 20s and early 30s will likely be very safe and fine from Covid. There's some concern of linemen in the NFL I guess

But Russ has a good point about people with high risk persons in their household and family they can bring their benign Covid too

Depends on rate of testing. Far as I can tell, a person can test positive 2-4 days after the initial infection and then after that. Those early first ~4 days, unless symptoms develop immediately like a cough to spread, I don't think they're actually infectious to others as the amount of virus in their system isn't enough.

So catching it early so that someone like Russ with a pregnant wife can separate them (which sucks) to not spread it to her. Something like a test every 3 days for the highly exposed athletes could work for this to pull them out of the interaction pool to not spead like wildfire during training camp or games or bring home to family

That's a lot of tests used up though for professional athletes while us peasants with similar concerns in many states are still told no test without symptoms

Its money and resource driven and the NFL has hilariously more of both than most people, most facilities, and most hospitals.

They literally could test as often as they want.

"Pace for" stats are silly, but I'm a big Ford fan. He's the forgotten guy by 9er fans, when the DL was a different animal with him healthy

Especially as specific as snaps. Pace by game sure, but if you have a guy who's just a pass rush specialist, he plays heavier on heavy pass attempt chance downs, and can go straight for QB each time without having the other responsibilities

Viking's Danielle Hunter, 14.5 sacks, would look horrible due to playing 882 snaps as he's an every down player

Man that shit was night and day different with him on the field. Rarely do teams qualify as unblockable to that level.

I think Hunter is one of the most underrated players in the league.

So good and so young. Youngest player to ever record 50 career sacks at only 25. I don't think he'll be underrated much longer. People will have no choice but to take note (unless this year's season is so discombobulated it throws a wrench in everyone's development)

Yeah, you can have my scraps. Cheers
The amount of players and staff they kept is sickening lol. Besides the Chargers QB situation which remains to be seen, the whole division got significantly better (on paper of course) and they still dont sniff KC’s level.

Theyve got the makings of surpassing the best super teams ever. Makes me want to puke.

He sure does create a different dynamic with that outside rush. QBs can't really escape the pocket, they have to step up which is bad news for them.

Yup, I agree
