It's just hard for me to believe that Mathis, who is almost universally considered a good guy by everyone who plays with him, would use his mom's cancer as an excuse to cover up PED use. I'm pretty cynical, but I have hard time believing anyone who isn't a complete sociopath could do something like that.

It is, and its also used for fertility issues. Wouldnt seem to make much sense that hed be coming off a cycle at that time.
 
I guess the doc could be a scam like Overeem's was.

Probably best to keep the discipline uniform across the board.
 
Patriots should have traded up for Niklas instead of drafting Garoppolo. Still don't understand that pick.

Mathis could have picked up the phone and cleared it with the Colts' training staff. Would have taken five minutes. You can't appeal to authority when it's your career on the line.

It was a Belichick pick for sure. Garoppolo is a very talented guy but needs some work, namely with handling pressure and stepping into the rush. I think Tom Brady is massively overrated, but if there's one thing he is the absolute best at, it is handling pressure and stepping into the rush.

I was so sour when New England took Niklas ONE PICK ahead of Green Bay. Now we're stuck with this can Dick Rodgers.
