NFL Discussion v53: Waiting for the Draft

i remember the whole thing starting off after the rams ran back a kickoff or an interception for a touchdown. they already had a shitty season so they were celebrating they cold score on the 49ers

It was bothering the fuck out of me so I looked it up.

Steve Young made a successful return from a shoulder injury and, for added inspiration, the San Francisco 49ers could thank the gall of Todd Kinchen.

Young threw for three touchdowns in his first game in six weeks and the 49ers ran off 35 straight points after Kinchen, a St. Louis wide receiver, kicked and punched their goal post, going on to a 41-13 rout of the Rams today at 3Com Park.

I think we won by a unanimous decision," San Francisco linebacker Gary Plummer said. "They're definitely not in the heavyweight division. I'd put them in the light heavyweights."

As I thought, that asshole Kinchen started it but it was the second game vs 49ers that year.

you know what, this is actually the second time ive wondered about that game since i watched it as a kid. it was the 49ers that returned the turnover for a touchdown. good work.

YEEE, got dat Jared Allen on the bears.

I love how the Bears have the league's best receiver duo, a stud running back, a $100 million quarterback, and now one of the league's very best defensive end combos.....and they still probably won't make the playoffs.

AP is getting besmirched by the Bears. Good luck running on Houston and Allen.

It's okay, Min and the rest of the division has Jay Cutler as a safety blanket.

Rams seem to be closing in on Kenny Britt. Hopefully thiss doesnt preclude them drafting Watkins.

does any division swap more players than the NFC north?

Yeah, this offseason in the NFC North has been pretty nuts

Jared Allen is a good pickup for Chicango

The other thing that’s confusing about this decision is the choice of location. Chicago is the big city. Allen is a noted sheep fucker. Not many sheep in Chicago.

I'll count the additions of Peppers and Allen as 50/50 value for Chicago and Green Bay.

However, the real game changer is Chicago's addition of MD Jennings from Green Bay.

With that move, Chicago solidified Green Bay as having the best off season.
