Remember Matt Jones, a college QB that put up an insane 40 time and then got drafted 1st round by the Jaguars to play WR? Looking back, how does a team select a QB to play another position in the first round.

He was OK, but he was in the league for multiple years before he showed any flashes. I don't think it was simply drugs. They drafted him based on measurables and not proven game ability. Roddy White was drafted a few slots later.
