Chris Cook wont make the 53 man roster. Calling it now. What an awful signing, even if only a precaution for Culliver.

Supposedly we offered Brown a 3 year deal and he declined.
3/10m

Dont blame him. Not a lot of interest this year because of the DB heavy draft. If he can stay healthy and put together a good year he can easily get $6m a year.

The scariest part about Cook's 0 career ints is that he plays in a division where Cutler and Stafford are starting QBs.

After 4 seasons of playing against those losers, you should luck into at least a few ints.

Funny thing is he never picked off Ponder either in practice lol. Dude legit sucks.

Shame really, he has all the physical tools to be a good CB. But he is also an idiot, seriously he's not that smart of a person, on top of his horrible ball skills.

Funny thing on Hakcan Nicks is his one year deal is a base of $3.5 mil with $2 mil in incentives while Jeremy Maclcan's deal is $5.5 mil base with a max of $6 mil. And Maclin tore his ACL..... In training camp.

Well, for starters, they both scored the same amount of touchdowns last year... Nicks was abysmal

Maclin is also perfect for that offense. Gonna be a fantasy stud, calling it now

When you lacked weapons last year, I don't think losing 2 of your top WRs and trying to replace those holes in the draft is the best course of action. Should have kept Smith and drafted a guy IMO.

Now if you get a bust the Panthers are really fucked and will waste that defense again.

This. Just look at how Brian Quick and A.J. Jenkins played out. I rather have Smitty, one of the top FA WRs and 1 WR from the draft.

Tillman resigns with the Bears.

1 year - 3.5m

woooooooo

I agree they should have kept Smith, but they probably weren't willing to do a third year because of future or something. And let's be real, only Smith was worth a damn. I have no idea who the other guy was.

Yeah, losing Steve Smiff is turrrible

They're gonna lie up 6 RB's and fail miserably

Tolbert is gonna have a 104 REC/1800 YDS/20 REC TD type statline this season.

The Niners signing Chris Cook to a 1 year deal with what is probably an extremely low amount of guaranteed money is the equivalent to them using a 7th rd draft pick on a corner. Don't know why everyone is freaking out. Didn't cost us anything and he isn't going to sniff the 53 man roster. He's a camp body that could end up being worth more.

Peanut being back in Chicago makes me so fucking happy. Easily one of my all time favorite players. Hope he retires a Bear.
