This entire thing seems to have your skivvies in quite a twist. It's pretty ironic you're fighting for their right to kneel during the anthem.

Again, I do not fault the Steelers for giving Villanueva shit for that. Check page one, I was with him 100% before seeing the pic of his entire team standing behind him and some still with their hands over their heart like he was. He just chose to go a few feet ahead. He made the choice, and I don't fault him for that either.

Except he probably collectively agreed with all of them to stay in the tunnel (as we see in the pic), but he went a few feet ahead to be the lone visible player.

I know what I fight for, I took the Oath. I support anyone's right to peacefully protest. I don't have to agree with, or remain silent in my disagreement with their position.
 
Trump wants to blow this up to distract all the poor whites who voted for him from the fact that he can't follow through on any of his campaign promises.

This. It's not coincidence that it's happening while the latest ObamaCare repeal plan fell on it's face and after Sept 30th they'll need 60 votes (an impossible number) to do it

Who are you willing to give up to sign them? $18 million on this season's cap. They all got 3 year deals. We have $11 million in cap space, maybe to try to sign a free agent if someone becomes available and also to cover anyone brought in to cover for injured players. also provides money to re sign players next season.

If we used every penny available under the cap we still need $7 million more. Do we cut 14 low paid players? Can't do that because we have to keep 53 on the roster. Can't cut a higher paid player because the dead cap hits are too high, some would cost more to cut than to keep. A GM really has an impossible job to find and keep talent.

Exactly. Trump supporters need to ask themselves whether angry tweets directed toward NFL players are a substitute for the health care plan they were promised when they voted for him.
 
good thing PUO is still asleep. This whole kneeling thing might've made his high blood pressure shoot through the roof.
 
I really dobut any Cards player will kneel. It would be interesting to see though how tonight goes.
