Sam Shields cut. Sad, but a brisk wind will KO him for the rest of the season

Interesting to see if he gets picked up. He can still play at a pretty high level. Would need to be cheap
 



This 5 step wasn't as outrageous as the ones from the patriots 22 yard line, but I still thought they should run it on 3rd and 1. That said - Jesus Freeman. If you remember you are on the football field on this play it's a TD

I've only seen this in screencaps of mouthbreathers ranting in Facebook comments so aside from them and delusional Falcons fans/Pats mega haters, the normal population does not think so

Looks like Nink had him hypnotized and then when he snapped out of it, it was too late. Nobody makes teams shit themselves like the Pats, its unbelievable. On top of the fact that nobody takes advantage of other teams mistakes like them either.

If a Pats RB ever let that happen to Brady, they would never play again.
 
Eh teams do it, or have a OC while the HC is still calling the plays (chip Kelly).

I would rather someone run his system - he creates the game plan but someone else executes it. But they hired him for his playcalling, and he doesn't want to give his baby up.

We are years from being competitive so it doesn't really matter to me, he can always give up control in the future

Nothing to do with niners - McVay or Kyle was a way better hire for Broncos IMO. With Wade staying as DC. A guy who has made three QBs look awesome > a DC that is a downgrade on the one you had already

Nah, they've put together an incredible team of coordinators and coaches with Joseph. I'm very happy at this point that they didn't go with Shanahan. Full control of the roster? Nope. Full control of play calling? Nope.

Wade was gone no matter what so that's a moot point.

There's no guarantee Ryan gets that throw off clean. By the time Gabriel breaks open, the RE is in his face as well. Even if Hightower is chipped, Long is there.
 
Kyle Shanahan is a candidate because of his playcalling. They paid him big bucks for that one reason. Not surprising that he will have full control

Good for him. I've seen first hand what a first time coach with that much roster control can do to a team.
