Good for him. I've seen first hand what a first time coach with that much roster control can do to a team.

I'm good.
There are dozens of examples of every type of coach - (First time, retread, college, coordinator, position coach) failing. Mostly because NFL coaches don't have a very long shelf life.

I would classify Joseph as a rah rah type over a Xs and Os coordinator, and I personally have watched 2 of those guys that "have all the leadership attributes to lead a team" recently fail for the 49ers.

On the bright side - Adam Gase got full 53 control and calls the plays in Miami. He got coach (or should have at least) of the year votes. Pretty comparable to Shanahan career path wise, so I can hope for the best.

I'd love Shanny as an OC. There really isn't anything I've read about this entire situation that would make me want him as a HC though. Not to mention his issues with players that's travelled across a few teams now which was my biggest red flag before anyone got hired.

Denver ended up with a HC that by all accounts is a great leader, an excellent OC, a rising star as DC who has coached one of the most dominant secondaries in league history, and a GM who got the team to two SB's in three seasons.

Definitely happy with how things have worked out for Denver so far this offseason.

We'll see what happens going forward.

So I saw a comparison of the average total defensive rankings for the big 4 (Brady/Brees/Peyton/Rodgers) to see who's been hamstrung the most. Peyton fans aren't gonna like this at all.

Peyton #14.8 or #15
Rodgers #16.3 or #16
Brady #16.5 or #17
Brees #21.7 or #22

I remember Edelman saying he missed his route on that. He didn't turn square enough which allowed the defender to get underneath him. Brady still gunned it in there, the defender did a great job just getting his hands to it.

Am I the only one who doesn't think that was the GOAT SB?

Super Bowl 43 still the best for me.

It wasn't for me either. The comeback was crazy to watch but a back and forth battle will always be more entertaining imo. This was a tale of two halves for both teams.

SB42 for me. I was in a packed room with a 50/50 split and someone had checked out an hd projector (which was a big deal back then).

SB 32. Not because Denver finally won the big game. Boyz II Men fucking destroyed at halftime, but what else would you expect from Boyz II Men?

Sanu was the big loser from this SoundFX...lotta chirping

I read some articles about how the falcons head sets messed up during their last drive. This has me worried as a pats fan. This not a big deal?

For real?

I really hope that's not the case.
