Bucky must be selling dope because about a year ago he said they had enough to pay the relocation fee and that was about it lol

Adelson's share will now come from a loan through Goldman Sachs.

Meh. Lets see Glass Leg in the post season. I dont give a shit about a stadium.

Probably better for the Raiders to keep slimball Adelson out

Greg Hardy is going to play spring ball (With Johnny Football). I thought that dude was going to try his hand at MMA?

I love this narrative that Boston is a "real" sports town compared to Atlanta even though the Patriots had one of the longest blackout streaks in NFL history before they were good.

John Lynch...da fuq?

Where is that the narrative? Locally its been that Atlanta isn't a pro sports town, they're a gigantic College Sports town. Not so much at the pro level. Love how Atlanta Sports radio got butt hurt and came after Boston College for sucking (s/o to Matty Ice). Nobody really cared about BC even when they were good with Ryan. If Georgia was playing B.C. in some random bowl game and Atlanta sports radio shit on Boston college sports fans, nobody here would care.

Not sure what a blackout 30 years ago really has to do with the fan base now lol.

So why did the Patriots have bad attendance before they got good?

Why does any team have bad attendance when they suck?

Again where is the narrative that Boston is a "Real sports town"? Its a minor local sports radio story that the Falcons fan base doesn't stack up with any of the other potential NFC teams they would have faced (outside the Lions). The game doesn't have as much juice, especially if you look at it from a sports radio hosts angle.

Pats haters always looking for reason to just seethe about something

Don't forget that the team was going to move until Kraft bought them.

But I thought y'all were the ultimate "ride or die" sports town? What happened?

I've never heard we were the ultimate right or die sports town. Did you just make that up on the spot or do you want to give credit to somebody else?

The goddamn Pats have been good for so long. Hopefully they will go through a solid couple of decades of eating shit soon. I still remember when they were one of the shittiest teams along with TB, Indy, and GB.

Even Atlanta natives like Shannon Sharpe have confirmed this, I don't know what you're complaining about. Atlanta is NOT a pro sports town. Like much of the South, they're a college sports town. Boston is a pro sports town. As to why the Patriots weren't all that popular to begin with, it's because they arrived on the scene late and were a horrible franchise before Bob Kraft took over. It's like asking why aren't New York fans crazy about the Nets. Let them win a few championships and things will change there too. As someone who was born and raised in Boston, but has lived much of his adult life in the South, I can tell you that Boston and the other major Northeast/Midwestern cities have a craziness about their pro sports teams that can't be matched. But yeah, people down here love their college football (and to a lesser extent basketball) teams.
