Did you ever use "we" when talking with teammates? I don't think I ever did. It was always what I could do better. Always personal responsibility. Even in a team environment.

I played sports and yeah, “we” was used a lot.
Even in HS, coaches always talk about team before anything. That’s why individuality is discouraged and there is collective punishment for individual mistakes or breaking the code(s) of conduct e.g. having to run gassers if someone is late for practice or didn’t show up to film/etc.

The packers screwed up at the end of the first half by not kicking off through the end zone to male Dallas start at the 20. Then that allowed the long return. Then the penalty that wasn't penalty. Now they show the false start on Dallas on the touchdown.

Only when addressing the team as a whole in football. In boxing which I also did it would be weird if I used "we".

I'm sorry, I did my job and was actually good at my position. I never said "we" because I never put it on others. I always took responsibility for my job. Must be a different mindset when you cant actually play sports.
