Gotcha. One side has reached out. One has not. Theyre not close on the figures. They want him there. He wont be until its close.

Be sure to fit in some time for ice cream, pizza, and booze. Dont want to show up to camp in shape. No reason. A young man like you can stay out all night, get two hours of sleep, and dominate opposing QBs just like Lawrence Taylor did back in the day.

So, can I ask WHY Reid hasn't been signed yet? Is it literally just the kneeling or has he said something else OTHER than just kneeling?

The Safety FA market is cold as ice now.Tre Boston is a pretty good Safety and he had to sign for 1.5mil/yr last week.
Reid might not want to take those lowball offers.

I got a soft spot for Oaktown and getting a bit concerned this deal doesn't get done by Week 1.

But we've seen and heard talks(or no talks) exactly like this before only for a deal to get signed last minute and all parties ecstatic.

The complete lack of talk or offers is worrisome though. I guess we'll see

Meh. Both just waiting on the other to flinch, and its intensified by Donald waiting for his as well. Everyone knows that the second one to sign will use the other’s contract as their baseline.

And that is why when the time comes, even if the deal isnt done yet, Id wager he will be there.
