They already play tons of zone, but now with Micah & Wyatt out they can't generate ANY pressure with four (Gary has turned into an absolute joke this year jfc) and have to blitz way more. And even besides zone/man talk the corners simply aren't that good, Hobbs so far was a terrible mistake, Nixon is average at best and Valentine can cover well but is a liability on run downs.

It will be tough, with limited cap space even after cutting Jenkins and Gary, no 1st rounder, they somehow need to improve CB, iDL and OL....

Sadiq is a complete luxury. They still need a WR1, or 2 if Rice can ever stay healthy (WR is luxury too but Sadiq is a much better passing option than a blocking option). Chiefs need an EDGE rusher, a corner, a RB, you will need defensive line help too, and probably a QB since Mahomo will be out for a bit. Idk if the team is going to to want to tank an entire season with that diabetic walrus living on borrowed time.
