His cap hit is 20M, 26.6M, 27M the next 3 years, and they can ditch him without penalty after next year if he busts. They locked him up long term for what it costs, while only risking this season and next seasons money where they still have over 50M in cap space. They also signed him before the other top QBs signed making his deal cheaper then theirs. For comparison here is A-Rod's cap hit the next 3 years - 26.5M, 32.6M, 33.5MEhh Mack and Donalds guarantees are right there around 90 mil. Its gotten completely out of hand on what theyre calling.
I still cant believe Jimmy got that much money that soon. I get wanting to lock him up, but that sample size made it a large gamble.
I guess that makes you loudmouth, know nothing, Stephen a smithKeep posting shit that nobody takes seriously. You’re legitimately the Skip Bayless of the sports bar, congrats.
Ya, like I said they took a gamble on a small sample size. It was a fuck load of money, even if they had it.His cap hit is 20M, 26.6M, 27M the next 3 years, and they can ditch him without penalty after next year if he busts. Drafting a QB is taking a gamble, etc.Ya, like I said they took a gamble on a small sample size. It was a fuck load of money, even if they had it.
Lol @ comparing him to Rodgers contract.
First, 3 weeks is nearly 1/4 season.
Second, How can we talk football in a larger sample than 3 weeks, when that's all that has been played.
Third, instead of arguing statistical numbers with bullshit arguments. Why not congratulate mahalloffame for his tremendous start...why not say, yes the ravens are killing it.
You're mad and rustled at the truth, quit hating.
Difference being those guys had played many seasons before they got paid. Not 5 games.Drafting a QB is taking a gamble, etc.
Every franchise QB is made the highest paid QB when they sign, when they are no where close to as good as Rodgers. You know that PUO, just trying to make a point that isn't there ? See Matt Stafford, Derek Carr, etc.
I guess that makes you loudmouth, know nothing, Stephen a smith
Lmao... "stop posting statistics, nobody takes them seriously."

Ill leave it with this question, (while it may not all entirely be on his shoulders) has he looked the same this season as those five games last year? Fuck no he hasnt.
A portion of those stats are the bill...Nobody takes them seriously when it’s week 3 and a large portion of those stats are hilariously inflated by beating up the bills. If that’s too hard for you to understand I apologize for making your brain have to work harder than it’s used to.
Most grounded people knew he would regress // not play at that silly level forever - Niners weren't paying him to be Tom Brady and they don't need him to be. Just need him to be a top 10 type QB. They would pay the guy that played week 1-3 this season the same contract IMO.Difference being those guys had played many seasons before they got paid. Not 5 games.

No fucking chance they give him the same deal for how he has played this season. Youve got your homer blinders on if you believe that. Most grounded people knew he would regress // not play at that silly level forever - Niners weren't paying him to be Tom Brady and they don't need him to be. And the entire point of this - "They took a giant risk". What was their move besides resigning him? Franchise tag him -> He gets hurt and they have to tag him again, or pay him the same contract/more next offseason. Tag him twice and you have a Kirk Cousins situation which would be way worse.
Please go away.We should throw out half of bradys career since he's played in the AFC east the whole time.
6 games a year vs Miami, buffalo and NYJ. His career is so hilariously statistically overinflated and overrated
Just ignore the entire question at the bottom part of the post?No fucking chance they give him the same deal for how he has played this season. Youve got your homer blinders on if you believe that.
Not til you give me my 7 hundoPlease go away.
What a depressing Monday. Injuries everywhere.
Sherm dropping bombs. Hope he gets involved with the players union.
Discount week 1 cause they played a high school JV team. What other statistics can we use then only 3 weeks have been played
