I'm no fan of this halftime crew but ESPN has put Schefter, Booger, etc in an odd place. How long can they just sit here and talk about it, and say basically nothing? Booger is not wanting to talk. Suzy is kinda having to lead the conversation… Ultra tough spot.

Yeah I remember how the wreck didn't look that bad but Darrell Waltrip kept saying that he feared the worst on air while everyone else was celebrating his brother winning.

Yeah, sometimes you just know something's off like that.

ESPN having their studio still talking about this is ridiculous. Just show commercials or pti reruns or whatever the hell is on ESPN the ocho with a banner in the bottom saying the games suspended.

Would just throw up whats on the signs at the stadium.

I wouldn't be airing these fucking commercials, regardless.

Hank Gathers just collpased in the middle of play on the basketball court and they did CPR on the court. He unfortunately died. It was disturbing.

I fucking hope so.
Jesus christ tho; get him to the best hospital nearby ASAP and rush his mom their in a police escort.
Thats what makes me think it would be a positive thing. But, what the fuck do I know I guess.

Been through this so many times as a fight fan and it makes me feel guilty watching the sports.

Damn. It was a hell of thing watching Dennis Byrd get paralyzed, and the game went on.

You would assume that the league has plans in place for things like this, but how the fuck do you ask any of those guys to come back out after that? It doesn't seem possible that they will know the kid is going to be fine anytime soon.

Posted this in the vbookie thread, but...

He's dead. My guess. I was out and just got in, listening on the radio.

I've seen three people at work where they were still doing CPR/compressions while loading them into an ambulance and they were DOA at the hospital. They get you back before they load you whenever possible.

I hope I'm wrong, but I've seen a lot (50?) of people taken out in an ambulance over nearly 30 years and those three times it's 3-for-3 they were dead when they were loading them, I later learned.
