Cousin of mine took a shot at the goal in lacrosse. The ball hit the goalie in the chest. Stopped his heart right there in the game. Luckily, the trainer was right there in the sidelines and started CPR. Kid survived

I just read an article of a 14 year old in Hong Kong playing rugby taking an elbow to the chest. I can't link it because it has to be downloaded as a pdf, but he essentially suffered the same thing Hamlin suffered. Collapsed, received CPR immediately and was taken to the hospital. Survived and was released in 7 days.
