Leave it to a certain cable news network to say "It's an incredibly violent game, and look what happened...are you happy now America?".
What an awful take

Ryan Clark almost died playing in Denver due to his sickle cell.Who is this guy on espn? That had an injury where he lost organs?
Ryan clark... played for steelersWho is this guy on espn? That had an injury where he lost organs?
I do not think anybody on the Bills cares about seedlings and whatnot right now. Nor do the players in the league. They should allow the players to have all the time they want. You can’t go like “Life happens, fellas, but we have TV contracts to hold up and Vegas is relying on us!”Very tough situation they are in here.
This game has serious implications for the playoffs. The Bills could be the number one seed with a first round bye if they win. A tie takes them out of that. If the NFL would call it a no contest, it leaves these teams short one game. If the NFL allows it to end at the current score the Bills are again disadvantaged. I'm certain that is why the NFL is waiting until tomorrow to make the decision to give the players time to consider what to do as well as find out more about the outcome.
I've been at work when an employee had a heart attack and died and the day went on.
I've been at a race track when a car broke a right front spindle and barrel rolled. The driver came halfway out of the car and had his chest crushed. The races went on.
Life is fragile and can end at any time.

ya hopefully the cpr helped the blood circulating to his brain so he doesnt have any long term damageJust need a report on his brain activity.
My point is that teams shouldn’t be rushed back.I mean, the Jovan Belcher thing happened and KC played the next day.
Dr Vin Gupta on MSNBC did an amazing breakdown on what potentially has happen. He's a combat an a cardiac expert. He said it looks like they did everything correctly including defibrillator use due to the shutdown of Damar's heart. He said the key was have the defibrillator on him within 2 to 3 minutesWhat a shit way to start 2023.
Hope he makes it.
