See this is the whole issue, you look at stats and make you assessment . If you spent any time watching Cousins you would know these stats are often not the entire story.

It's the checking down to the TE 10 yards short of a first down to lose a game. Most of his INTs being complete knucklehead INTs, not the taking a shot downfield sort. Not being good in most big games he's played. Yeah, he can sling it if nobody gets close to him and you have good WR but that's about all I would say.

I've watched him play, that's why you making awful analysis/assumptions doesn't work on me bud. When Kirk has bad games he doesn't get garbage time stats. They get blown the fuck up by Dallas or whatever and he gets absolutely throttled. Just ignore the fact that the defenses also give up 30 points or that Dalvin Cook only runs for 47 yards. You have an unrealistic and quite frankly, poor understanding of NFL football. The only QB who can overcome that shit in the NFL is Josh Allen.

He's an OK QB. Maybe top 12ish. But Sam is better than that right now and costs 1/4 the amount. Now next year when Sam may be getting $35m I'm not sure he's worth that but Kirk is not better than Sam. Best case is you can make an argument they're a similar level QB. You're a stats guy compare the two.

Sam is better because Cousins is injured and maybe washed. If you're doing an analysis of their careers Cousins is hilariously better and you come off as a bitter jaded retard.

Darnold is a player that would have benefited from staying in college for 8 years like Dix and Penis Jr. He just needed more time on how to play the position.
