Loyal to SF I have to hate RE, and I think it's easy to say Mahomes is QB#1 based on production. But football is such a hard sport to compare stats/players in, compared to like baseball where a HR is a HR. Imagine Russ with a offensive coach like Reid with that screen game, speed on offense, and pass heavy attack. Would he be the MVP favorite every year? Or did having an elite defense / run game help him by buying him so much valuable experience while going from solid game manager to elite QB?

He still has plenty of slumps, he had MVP love last year before a down second half of the year. Think he passed over 250 yards once out of the last 7 games
