In these drives he's had 30 play calls: 21 pass, 9 rush

Double digit 4th qtr leads in both games LOL
It's unbelievable lol usually we're complaining because a coach went conservative and just called runs that went nowhere. Just lolwtf

I get wanting to stay aggressive and not letting your opponent off the hook, but SF staying aggressive would've meant continuing to pound the rock rather than letting KC's D off the hook by attempting to throw. In perhaps the most crucial 4th qtr possession last night he had 2nd and 5 after a 5 yd rush gain on 1st. So he goes with 2 straight failed pass plays and has to punt. Chefs then took the lead with a TD iirc
The drive before that they had a one yard rush on 1st and a false start before second iirc. So you are stuck passing. The 2nd and 5 is a great play call if Jones doesn't bat the pass, but that's how it goes

And why not call timeouts toward the end of the half?

If that was Andy, he'd be getting roasted hard for that

For as good of a coach as Andy Reid is, he doesnt get the ring without Mahomes. And Brett Veach used to make Reid watch his games at Texas Tech when they were scouting him. At the time, Veach was under Dorsey but had been with Reid since his Philly days.

I remember quotes- and there will probably be stories out today- about Reid saying that Veach would not leave him alone about Mahomes, constantly pulling him aside to watch tape. lol

Ill never forget when the Chiefs drafted him in 2017 and their scouts/Dorsey were celebrating like they just pulled off a heist. Remember- they had to move up 17 spots and give up a 1st and 3rd. Seeing their jubilation after giving up so much...I just always believed he was going to be the one. And he delivered, fam.

I remember saying "who the fuck is Patrick mahomes?"

I thought they were drafting watson

Wonder how many coaches have blown multiple 4th quarter double digit leads. Lol

And if it wasn’t for Elway shooting himself in the dick, there’s a good chance Paxton Lynch would have ended up in KC.

In a way, I feel like Denver should get some credit for this. Throw another Lmr Hunt trophy in.

Congrats to KC, since I checked out before their comeback last night (actually might have checked out of here before they fell behind). Either way, congrats. I thought it was a fun game. Even with some head scratching decisions (really Shanny, abandoning the run up in the 4th?), I really felt the story was KC's explosive offense finally exploding late in the game. KC's defense was inconsistent against the run last night, but they did get some stops there. No guarantee SF could have run the clock out.

Zzzzzzz. Jimmy was shit in the 4th, was like 18-20 before that. Think most of the loss falls on him.

But lol @ revo with his same troll that he thinks will never get old. First full season as a starter and he went as far as the bills have in franchise history. He has more playoff wins then the bills in the last 25 years. Basically, shut the hell up because he's still 10x better then Josh Allen who choked away a bigger lead vs a way lesser team
Hes not very good either way. He is an average QB on a tremendous team. Thats ok. Most would happily take the situation.

Reid still has his faults but Maholmes is a game changer who is able to maximize Reid's playbook.

After last year I thought it would only be a matter of time before he got a ring
