Mahomes does have some great weapons and he has one of the best offensive minds in football as coach. Andy Reid scheme, Hill, Watkins (great when he's on, he just isn't all that often), Kelce (Top 3 TE is a significant boost for any QB) and a pretty good O-Line. I think it is extremely important to consider this. HOWEVER anyone who watches the game should be able to see how much talent Mahomes has and how many plays he just pulls out of his ass. I mean is it so hard that having lots of help and him still being arguably the best QB right now can both be true at the same time?

It's going to be interesting to see what he can do when he gets his new contract and loses some weapons or O-Line talent. Their defense already isn't that great and he might lose Chris Jones, too.

----------------------------------

Also...many (not all) Cheatriots/Brady fans will bash any talented QB, that's what they do. Better get used to completely insane takes from them in the future.

Tyreek's speed and Kelce top 3 tight end. Can't really deny those, top talent for sure. But all the other offensive weapons are replaceable. Mecole Hardman is still developing, he is only going to get better. But right now, he is the special teams guy and they throw him in every once in a while. He hasn't been fully unleashed yet.

It is true that the Chiefs will lose cap room with the contract extension on Mahomes. But it is also true that many athletes in the NFL want to win a superbowl and be a champion. Some will be willing to get paid less to play for a team that has a chance to win and a chance for them to have more success and raise their stock. There are also many talented weapons out there who aren't being utilized properly and their stock drops because of it. For example, the former Dolphin Running backs (Damien Williams and Kenyan Drake). Once they left Miami, they showed what they were really capable of. Damien Williams has shined under Mahomes. Kenyan Drake who was always overlooked has played much better under Kyler Murray and has taken the starting job from David Johnson. John Brown is the go to guy for the Bills now,. You look at the history with the Patriots, a lot of really good veteran players have went there and have taken a pay cut to play for them and a chance to win. When you play for a great QB like a Brady or Mahomes, you have a chance winning a super bowl, having a good season, and raising your stock so you can get a bigger contract next go around. Mahomes will eat up a lot of that cap but there will be players who will be willing to take a pay cut to play for them.

As you said, It will be interesting to see how the Chiefs fill those gaps. I thought Kareem Hunt was going to be irreplaceable but that turned out okay. There are guys out there who would be big stars with a great QB. For example, John Ross would probably be somewhere between Mecole Hardman and Tyreek Hill if he was catching for Mahomes.

Lol at one chick dating multiple professional nfl players. Gold digger to the finest degree, hope whoever marries her gets a prenup.

Ain’t nobody reading this wall of text.
Super bowl is over, time to go back to where you came from

This is the 2nd and 5. That's Terrell Suggs in man coverage on George Kittle who is wide open, Chris Jones just makes a play. Needed to get the run game going but that play call vs that defense would typically work in your favor

Welcome, new Chiefs fans. Stick around during the offseason or fuck off.

He hucked the ball out there and is lucky enough to have one of the fastest receivers in the league that could actually get there and catch it, that catch was mostly Hill, not Mahomes, not many receivers could have made that play. Williams, Hill, or Watkins deserved MVP (the defense played quite well as well, but it's difficult to single out one player there), Mahomes was lucky to have their speed tonight.
Did he not have fast recievers all year, invluding his time without hill? When he made mecole hardman a name this season. Lol your post is nonsense

Shout out to the great State of Kansas on the big win!

NFL should think about doing a Chuck Liddell and JuniorDosSantos Dancing with The Stars routine for the halftime show next year
