Its worth clarifying, they don’t put them down just because. Adult horses and cattle literally can’t survive with a broken leg. For such large animals, they can die from the dumbest shit. There’s been quite a few people that think Goodell wants it out. He can’t do it without the owners approval though. People also believe he had the vote pushed back to May too cuz he didn’t think there would be enough votes back in March/April meetings. They already tried to play the safety card but couldn’t find any legit evidence suggesting players have a higher chance of getting injured.
