At first glance Golden seems to have the right mentality, is still really young at 21, has that blazing speed, can line up at several spots, was good in high leverage situations, a speedy WR was a strong need, has strong hands according to Gutekunst at least lol (we will see). But most of all, Gutekunst for once didn't take someone ranked way below their pick by consensus, in fact the opposite, that is more of a positive than him being a WR!

If he wasn't on the board a trade back would have made the most sense, especially considering the insane prices yesterday. I'm fine with the pick. Now try to attack CB and D-Line! A lot of really good prospects still out there and a ton of WRs will still go, which isn't a need anymore.

Also fuck @Croaker and @Substance Abuse :P

@Croaker PFF has Da Bears taking Henderson. I'm assuming this would make you pretty happy. Or as happy as a guy like you can be, lol.

Doubt it will happen, but would love to see Will Johnson fall to the Raiders. Mike Green is still out there, too. Somebody will get a dawg edge player on the cheap.

They could still get Sanders but the idea of New Orleans going into 2025 as Carr as their QB and the Steelers as Rudolph as their QB.

Also, even with Hunter I'm still thinking the Jags don't make the playoffs next year. Still don't trust Lawrence to get it done.

I'm a Packers fan and I'm ok with the pick although I would have just preferred we sign a veteran WR but the price for those were kinda steep and there weren't a lot of them to choose from. As some other poster have said I want the team to get pass rushers and corner. If we have the salary cap space I trade for Ramsey give them a 4th rounder or something. Maybe they don't have the money as that maybe the reason they don't wanna keep Alexsander.

Cap savings are very important for 2026, one of the main reasons they want Jaire gone.

Dont really understand everyone celebrating Shitdoor falling. He doesnt seem like a bad dude, its not his fault Prime Time is his dad.
Look I don’t have anything against the guy. But when you have someone who succeeded on nepotism and is egotistical as hell, there’s that inner part of me that’s like “I don’t hate you but I love to see you fail”. It’s not like I wish I’ll will, but when the dude shows up to draft night with his pre built draft room, and then doesn’t go on day 1 you can’t help but smile a little bit.

He’s talented enough but I’m not gonna act like he didn’t get opportunities his peers didn’t because of daddy.

Having Bowers and Jeanty as the future foundational pieces im very happy with. Still alot of needs to fill but they should be set at 37 to fill another need, some good players available.
Its Trey Amos or Nick Emmanwori today imo. Both are the prototype for Pete Carroll’s defenses.
