Helps to be buddy buddy with corrupt state and local governments
Vegas basically begged them for sports teams with tax payer $. Everyone is happy as business is booming.

It seems insane to think of paying taxes to make rich richer, but it definitely helped bump up their economy as well I guess.

I highly doubt it’s helped their economy. Usually publicly funded stadiums have minimal impact in their community. Just more socialism for billionaires.

If you're using a sensor on the ball and a sensor on the chain you should definitely be able to see when it passes.
This is clearly a ruse from the NFL to make it look like they're trying to play fair. They're using the electronic system as a distraction from the fact that they're never going to attempt to stop any ref from doing this shit.

The orange marker is the spot, not the yellow line.

Yeah, I don’t get what I’m supposed to see being done wrong there?

Idk for Vegas. The casino prices go through the roof for game weekends or concerts etc there. No idea what that means for an economy but theyre certainly bringing in tourists.

But isn't that when new stadiums are built for existing teams? That's hardly the same thing as building s stadium for a new NFL team.

This is another thing that the UFL uses that the NFL will now implement on a trial basis, the other being the XFL kickoff rule that will debut this upcoming season. The UFL measuring system all digital and the ref will no longer have the ability for a bad spot. The system tracks the ball in play and provides real-time measurements to the first down line. The other week during a UFL game on Fox, Curt Menefee mentioned during the game that the system works great and was wondering why the NFL is still using chains. lol

It's like still using umpires to call balls and strikes in baseball.

Youre implying anyone watches beisbol or even cares

they can do whatever they want, until they get that dipshit Manfred out of the commissioner role that sports is dead

Beisbol is still goated among revos people. Once my Phillies sweep the doyers in the yoffs they’ll brutally forget about it again.
