Didnt like the King move, but to be fair King is 3.3 million vs maybe a few hundred thousand for the rookie.

It's funny that they are really trying hard to make this "Eagles trade up ahead of Cowboys, after Witten retires, to select a TE named Dallas that they were DEFINITELY going to pick"

Um, the offensive line coach was in the war room (you can watch their war room cam live) like 3 picks before the Eagles even traded up. The Cowboys then *gasp* drafted an offensive lineman and didn't bat an eye when the Eagles took the TE.

I suspect that once a team settles on "their guy" in the first round, they can get paranoid thinking other teams will want "their guy". With the Witten announcement, it might have upped that level of paranoia.

Dunno mate, they move slow. Maybe they have to try and figure out when the video took place / where / follow up / etc.
