You are somewhat right about the Pats but there's nothing they could do about the Dolphins and Jets sucking for ages, and the Bills being good just within the past few years, but I'd even go one further. I don't think people will like it but I would say if said team cannot make it to the playoffs 5 years straight or longer I would be open to not allowing them to have a first round draft pick until they can get to the playoffs. The teams that this would apply to currently are the Jets, Broncos, Panthers and the Falcons.

I know you can't do it in US pro sports as it stands now but I think relegation would be an awesome thing! You end up in the bottom ## for 3 years in a row, you get relegated until you end up in the top ## for 3 years in a row. Get this consistently terrible teams and ownership groups out of there.
