The offense did enough to win the game. That pretty sums up Goff. Good QB but doesn't get it done in the big games. Hell of a year though.

You sound rather triggered boy, again showing that you care. Try again next time little oneYou're posting a thread I frequent. It's crazy someone might not actually give a shit and read what you post. I know your shitty reddit-esque humor probably gets you tons of pussy. On here though, you just look like a big gay.
He's in his second season as a QB, and he's playing in the Super Bowl. It might have been his second in as many seasons if he didn't go down with an injury in last year's NFC Championship game. He just wrapped up a regular season where he led the league in nearly every major advanced metric considered important (Passer Rating, QBR, EPA, EPA/dropback, ANY/A, NY/A, Completition% over Expectation, Yards/Completion, Success Rate), and was Top 5 in pretty much everything else (Total Yards, Total TDs, Comp%, TD%-INT% and TD:INT ratio, 3rd Down Conversion, Red Zone conversion %, Team Points Per Game). He has had the best record of any QB in the league over this period.reminded me of the Craig Krenzel performance against Miami in 2002. Very timely runs in high-pressure situations. Bailed out the 49ers several times.
The last two weeks haven't really convinced me this guy is a long-term solution, should have lost both games but survived due to several dropped interceptions, but he has that plucky grit and seems like he has character.
I'm convinced that he's in a great position that will allow him to perform and put up great stats, but I suspect a lot of other QBs would put up similar stats in the same position. He's in his second season as a QB, and he's playing in the Super Bowl. What is the long term problem you're looking to solve?
Not buying it. Goff already has a great team around him. Not counting the QBs themselves, Detroit was tied for the second most All-Pro offensive selections of any team in the league this season with the Cowboys (4) behind the Niners (5). He was barely pressured more per dropback than Purdy (22.6% vs. 20.1%). That's with only slightly less time in the pocket (-0.3s).I'm convinced that he's in a great position that will allow him to perform and put up great stats, but I suspect a lot of other QBs would put up similar stats in the same position.
Put Goff on that team and I think he's getting MVP stats as well, same with most top 20 QBs. Someone like Burrow becomes a god on the 49ers.
Goff dropped this dime as good as you can drop one and Jameson couldn't snag it
He had a great game and came through with some clutch plays but this could have easily swung the momentum right back to them. Big miss
Taylor is doing god works and making football great againWife has made a “Taylor Swift Super Bowl” Facebook event for a Super Bowl party at our house. With Tswift vinyls for prizes for SB commercial bingo and random vegas bets numbers right.
I just wanted to smoke some pulled pork and slam some coors lights. Fuck Taylor swift for getting my wife into football.
Matt Stafford as a Lion or 9er is 4-5 guaranteed championships.

Eh this is why I generally avoid Purdy talk. Have you watched Goff throughout his career behind good OLs vs bad OLs? He has an elite OL in Detroit. He wouldn't have that in SF. I would say he's better off in Detroit.Put Goff on that team and I think he's getting MVP stats as well, same with most top 20 QBs.
