I spent the better part of my lunch break yesterday dumbfounded. The guy I won money off of all year on football was 100% serious that Fields just needed one more year and he would have the Bears ruling the north. This dude is a Saints fan so I'm pretty sure he's just trying to talk a trade to Atlanta out of existence. I told him no one can be this stupid, he believes Fields can be the best QB in the NFC. So we got 50 on the Bears winning the North this year. I told him I'll just take half right now, kick him in the nuts and call it even. The guys fun to talk football with, but what a dumbass lol.

Giving up a 3rd isn't a big deal for Justin. Shidder sucks. Fields would be a bridge QB for someone to develop. Unless you want waste a year of a cheap players you gotta at least get a QB who can be used with the talent you have. If the Falcons get someone who can run RPO's for JaJustin they have enough talent, especially in the RB room, to at least get check downs out of him. If he can do that with London and Pitts they could push for the playoffs.

What other options do the Falcons have? You gonna trade for the corpse of Mac Jones? Who went from promising to a shell in 2 seasons of bad teams? Gonna trade for Sam Howell is the Redskins want to draft a QB? There aren't any veterens worthwhile to get your squad going or competitive. I'm sure the Falcons would LOVE getting Rustle Wilson.
