Besides the fact Josh Jacobs was a raider, do you actually believe he was a better RB than Swift last year? There isnt any metric in which he was.

Josh Jacobs had a workhorse year and won the rushing title. He's been mid as fuck besides that.

Such a tragedy how it went down with his knee, when usually these days ACL injuries aren't that problematic at all. Then seeing the issue in the initial surgery and not fixing it because it might not become a big issue was terrible in hindsight. Such a great player, hope he can go again for a different team, hope not the Jets lol.

A guy with bad knees playing on a turf field sounds like a disastrous idea but they gave Lazard 44m so who knows lol

What a shame but not surprising. HOFer had he stayed healthy. I remember he got thrown into the fire at LT as a rookie and held his own, much like Walker did this year when he got hurt. Couldn’t stand all the dorks that were implying he was faking or didn’t want to play.

With Campbell gone too they should have a good amount of cap space though, even factoring in Love extension

Theyre completely different backs. I sincerely doubt Jacobs out performs Swift. He doesn't have the burst or the hands.

Certainly different styles, but I dont know what careers youve watched if you think Swift is better. Hes no Ekelgoat as a pass catcher and Jacobs is no slouch there either.

He's got way more burst than Jacobs. His downside is injury risk. He doesn't have the milage on him that Jacobs does. Jacobs has more than double the number of rushing attempts than Swift.

I've been a huge fan of Swift since he came into the league. He's a fantastic dual threat back. Last year people thinking he wouldn't succeed was laughable. Especially those dorks who thought Gaynwell would take the RB1 spot.

Roschan Johnson and Swift is a sick backfield.
