Wife and I tested positive for Covid after visiting my mom, been laid up all week, but we both had to go back to work cause they have no backup plans for either of us. Crazy how perceptions have changed in a year or two, now I gotta feel guilty whenever someone sniffles.

The Chiefs releasing Valdes-Scantling makes plenty of sense, especially considering he was the most logical veteran to be a salary-cup cut. The decision created $12 million in cap space with just $2 million in dead money. The Chiefs hope to use much of that money to help re-sign pass rusher Chris Jones.

Don't know if they'll be able to re-sign Jones. They might spread some of that money around because they got a lot of dudes on rookie contracts and should prioritize re-signing some guys to add depth to their roster, imo.

Glad MVS gave the Chiefs some great playoff games/moments the last two years. He was uneven in GB and downright bad this year in KC, so I don't know how his future looks.

A truly savvy GM would get a deal done with the single intent of fucking the kid's mom.

Fatricia would probably have been high on the list if anyone would actually let him near another HC gig. Was bad enough the Eagles let him in the building.
