After all the dust has settled, this has not been a great free agency for the Vikings I don't think. Yah there were some good signings, but Kwesi really screwed the pooch IMHO on the QB issue. Sam fucking Darnold for 10 million? They guy is a proven can who is barely worth backup money. We could have gotten Flacco for less, or even Minshew for a bit more who is worlds better than fucking Darnold. They are either going to have to hit big on a QB in the draft somehow, or Kwesi is going to find himself out on his ass sooner rather than later. And given his track record.... Best of luck to him at the local McDonalds working the drive through by week 8.

It's not closed, but aside from a few examples most teams when they are hot only have a 3-4 year window. So the Lions have about 2 left in the tank before it all comes.crashing down.

Its more because most core contributers are still early rookie contract.

And because they don't have a rookie deal QB they can switch to one and save money there to pay other people when their rookie deal ends.
