PUO would you be okay (no matter who the coach is) if they just went ridiculously hard on defense in the offseason and then got a mid to lower level QB like Geno until they could draft a QB in 2026?

They already did this. The defense was pretty stacked tbh, but they all ended up on IR.

It depends how the draft goes I guess and just too many factors. What does it cost to get Cam Ward or Sanders? I dont see them as prospects Id be willing to make similar deals of other teams that moved up for a QB. Id rather have Jaxson Dart or Ewers. Give me Jeanty and Dart/Ewers over trading the farm for either of those guys imo. Pair those bums with whatever experienced can QB is available, Rodgers, Cousins, Darnold etc.

How do you know they're "bum" head coaches if they're only given one year? Dan Campbell was 3-13 in his first year with the Lions. Had all the internet couch GMs calling him a "bum" head coach. Next year was 9-8, next year 12-5, this year 15-2. Wild how giving a "bum" head coach more than a year worked out. Not saying AP was gonna become Dan Campbell, but this one and done shit is more retarded than anything.

I dont think one size fits all for one and done coaches. I watched AP not know when to call timeouts, have god awful clock management, and not know when to be aggressive/not to be aggressive on 4th downs. Players like him and he can talk it up with the best of the best (why he drew comps to Cambrll), but he was hilariously over his head coaching an NFL game. The fact that none of those things improved through the season is incredibly damning.

I havent seen stability in most of my lifetime watching this team and many times have said they were too quick to can people, but this isnt one of those times imo.
