But what's wrong with the field, it doesn't look wet or even frozen. What's the problem genuinely asking?

Its always wet this time of year. I think the Eagles use a hybrid and the more they use it the more uneven it becomes. So its not a flat surface. Pivoting takes more effort, feet sink on release etc. If you play on frozen grass its hard to even walk because cleats skid against the surface.

I should add thats why every hates playing in Chicago, its an absolute shit show of a field and tears up knees like nobodies business.
