Imagine having a playoff team

Being a HC during the best dynasty in history while also having Manning around during his prime could have had something to do with it.

Where are Blake Bortles, Tim Tebow, and Baker Mayfield on that list? They also eliminated Steeler's teams with Ben still as the QB.

Let me know when it's easier to win without a franchise QB. This teams recent success was because it had a franchise QB. Steelers haven't won the Super Bowl in 16 years, lets not act like I am a Patriots fan bitching here.
You are equally as stupid. All yall know is winning seasons and you want to cry about it. Its hilarious.

Pats are finding out what its like to watch losers. Steelers and Packers fans though, spoiled to winning for most of your lifetimes and have no idea how terrible it is to be a bad franchise.

Oh how I hope you find out. Youd be begging for Tomlin and 10+ wins.

T-Bone obviously had god on his side and Big Rape was clinically dead by the time he played Gayfield.

So you admit that Bortles, Mayfield and Tebow were good enough to outplay Ben and are wondering why they didnt have success.......?
No, I admit that under Tomlin this team under performs and does so spectacularly when it matters. This season as example, when they had their stretch against good teams when they controlled their own destiny to the #1 seed, they were blown out in every single game. Every single aspect of this team has regressed badly since the first half of the season, with the exception of Boswell's kicking. Boswell is the only reason they even made the playoffs this year.

Denver paid Rustle $85 million to go away and Tomlin got his sorry ass into the playoffs.

As a Pats fan, I can confirm. I’d mainline Mac Jones scuba wetsuit wearing ass playoff run over what I’ve seen recently.

My brother is Christ, at some point you can't coach someone who's not good enough to perform.

Why is no other coach treated like this then? You can seriously apply this logic to any other head coach for a reason to not fire them.

How many other head coaches can take a bunch of washed offensive linemen, a shit tier RB in Najee Harris, and a shell of a QB to the playoffs year after year? Did watching Kenny Pickett suck dick not prove to you that Tomlin wins games he has no business winning during the regular season? The playoff teams are the best teams. The most consistent, the teams that do things right. The Steeler shave craters in the hull of the ship and he navigates that piece of shit to the fight every god damn time.

Pats fans, thoughts?

I would really prefer they bring in some new blood for OC and supported Mayo getting fired, but the problems ran far deeper than him.

Mayo was only coach for five years and all with the Pats, so most of the coaches were from GM Eliot Wolf's roladex and were rookie coaches.

The OLine and WR room were absolute disasters. So, they do need someone to go in and kick some ass and bring some discipline to those units and McCaniels is a better choice for that than another rookie OC.

So, reluctantly yeah.

Outside of Drake Maye, the draft was a disaster as were most of the coaching staff, brought in by the GM, so no matter what else happens, Wolf has got to go. Hopefully, Vrabel is going to bring someone new to GM

Shocked

I mean at this point there is nothing left to argue. If people really want to think Tomlin is dragging a roster that should be picking top 5 to the playoffs then sure, keep believing it. If Boswell is average this year, they don't make the playoffs and are probably a sub .500 team. But sure, it's all Tomlin. Best coach ever!! Here's to another blowout playoff loss in the playoffs for his HOF resume.

Put Fields in.

The guy that never should have been taken out

Tomlin's situational decisions are top tier. Situational football wins games.
