He's better than every single one of them and won't connect with pitter patter shots like Gus and Machida were. When Glover connects, Jones is done.

I feel like Cormier's resume at HW has been good enough that he should get a title shot soon if he wins and Gus loses. It would turn into one of those "Who else are they going to give it to?" situations.

Glover is a good striker with huge power and an excellent ground game. All in all he's probably Jone's biggest threat to date. That being said, acting like a Glover KO is a sure thing is ridiculous.

Glover was in trouble by Bader, Jones will give him more than he can handle.

Also, I would argue that Belfort and Machida are better fighters than Glover, but to each their own.
 
Gus, because people want the rematch.
DC will probably win Rashad fight, but he'll do it safely again and fans won't be hell bent on seeing him fighting Jones.

What I meant was at the point of getting the title shot manuwa would have the better record. 15-0 all finishes with a ko of gus is much better than 9-0 with a best win of munoz
 
If both Cormier and Gus wins, then whoever is more impressive in victory should get the titleshot. If one of them loses, the other gets the titleshot. If they both lose then I suppose Rashad vs Manuwa for the titleshot.
 
Gus has it as long as he beats manuwa.

The winner of dc/rashad will probably face davis to decide the next contender.
 
I think Gus is already confirmed for the next title shot (as long as he wins).

I think you nailed it on the head with the two fights you mentioned. One of the winners from these two fights will get the next title shot.
 
I would prefer Gus if he wins. DC/Jones is compelling, but I want a rematch.

To answer TS: I'd like to see Jon rematch Gus, but IMO Rashad is a tougher opponent than Manuwa. I could see this going either way if they both win their fights, and honestly, don't care who Jon fights next (assuming he gets by Glover), they'll both get a title shot in time.
