Elections Newsom starts a podcast and his first guest is Charlie Kirk

Eh. I'd prefer podcast hosts to make the rounds and be guests for a bit, feel the process and advertise yourself, before making a show.

Then again, Matt Gaetz's stupid eyebrows have a podcast. So why the hell not.

I never really liked him. Always seemed totally full of shit.

And the fact that Kimberly Guilfoyle is his ex-wife is pretty fucking weird.

Fuck him, he's a clown with zero principles.
Crazy, i never thought i would agree with you on anything. You surprised me.

He is an absolute pariah with progressives now.

I don’t follow any progressive pundits, but I assumed so.

Seems the democrat’s approach is to try and have AOC and Bernie go on a college campus tour, he being the padawan and him being the socialist Jedi. That is their attempt to bring back the populous base.

Then Newsom is the other prong of the pincer, trying to bring back moderates with his shit podcast.

It is all too phony tho and will only backfire. Bernie is weak, AOC is a crisis actor, and Newsom is simply the most unlikable politician ever in caricature form, how he was ever elected is amazing.

No middle of the road voter will be swayed by any of them

Why don't you ever see a Charlie Kirk or a Ben Shapiro from the Left regularly debating other intellectuals? It's because their arguments are based off of emotion and they use guilt tripping as a winning strategy. America is clearly done with that.

You don't see it, but I've seen it plenty. You don't see it because the elite liberals always curb stomp the conservatives, and conservative media doesn't amplify those exchanges. You need to get out of your partisan bubble.

Have you seen Shapiro try and debate Ezra Klein or Sam Harris? He sounded like a child because his tactic of "just make shit up" didn't fly.

Oh, for sure. The damage is huge, and fixing it will take time. But honest question, who from the newer generation of democrats is actually moderate? I can only think of Slotkin right now.

Manchin.

Props to Newsome for having Kirk as his first guest. Being able to have conversations with anyone without shrieking or screaming in protest is the first step. People have to realize that for 'this' to work, we have to be able to talk to each other like normal humans, even if we vehemently disagree with one another.

A lot of liberals would have preferred the Newsom who debated DeSantis showed up to talk to Kirk.

I've been listening to a lot of Scott Galloway lately, he's a moderate liberal, and he's right with you when you say these conversations have to be happening. Most liberals are pissed because Newsom didn't push back at all on anything, and even if you didn't watch the exchange you can probably tell Newsom was there to make new friends. He didn't say anything when Kirk said Trump won the 2020 election.

No, you haven't because it doesn't happen anywhere near as much. There's nothing on leftist media I'm missing, pal. One person I'll give props to is Cenk Uygur. I don't agree with his politics but he will debate anywhere any time. He tends to be easily rattled but it is what it is.
