New Sarah Silverman Standup

She got where she is due to being moderately attractive in a field dominated by Men. Lot of edgy without the funny.

A bit surprised, didn't realize there were adult men or anyone for that matter found her funny. What's not surprising is which posters do.

I'll put it this way. I'm probably more supportive of women's stuff than most others on this board. Trying to tell me that Sarah Silverman is funny is a lot like saying women's 145 is a strong division in MMA or that the UFC currently has a stronger HW division than Pride in 2005. You might be able to convince yourself it's true, but no one's ever going to take you seriously.

Most of the posters I see ripping on her ITT are ones I don’t take seriously—and least on any possible topic where politics might be involved—so I suppose it works both ways. I can only speak to what I find funny, I don’t really care to convince anyone else. I mean, Seinfeld is one of the most legendary and beloved shows of all time, and I almost never found it funny.

She’s always been more odd than funny imo. And she’s always been hit or miss with that.. I’ve never flat out disliked her but I also wouldn’t go out of my way to seek out her projects.


That said while I feel her career was a bit manufactured some years back I can at least see why she was picked, she does have some talent for the void she fills.

I never got her in that intervew. She was so determined to have Bill admit that he liked her or that they were very similar. Bill is just like "Who cares??? Stop trying to say the same thing over and over to get your point across".
