I think you really got to wake up early if you wanna KO Max. But I also thought the same about Volk, so... still, despite all his mileage, Max is surprisingly young, age really seems to be critical when you start getting over 35, which is about the same in a lot of high level sports, 33-35 is often the turning point. Just like Oliveira still being competitive (and a wonderful champ, a brilliant fighter) when he was the same age as Max. And Charles also fought a fucking lot, lost more fights than Max, got finished many times.

Because of the small-town dynamics, he's also gotten a lot of other police officers to train as well, AND the fight comes on right after his birthday dinner/party, so . . . it's going to be a bunch of drunk Spanish police officers and me watching Max v Ilia.
