Neck strikes

Does it become legal on Jones' fights or something?
Watch the Belfort and Shogun fights guys.... he never gets a warning or anything for his throat shitz...

It's illegal to target the throat, but the refs basically say accidental/incidental strikes are ok. If you push a guy's chin up and target the throat, you're in for a world of shit though.



2 inch strip from the crown to the neck, entire back of the neck, and the spine. plus the throat. You can hit the side of the neck all day if you want. If the fighter being hit moves, and that movement causes a fighter to get hit somewhere illegal, that's not a foul.

Traditional Dojos do incorporate some striking and thrusting into their training but they are illegal in competition and not part of the grading system.

I know. Like neck and throat strikes... But like I said no chopping lol
