Unless he fixes up, I don’t see Drake making the podium this year. With Jax Forrest at 133 now, I think 133 has surpassed 184 as the most stacked division this year

Agreed -- the weight is just too stacked this year, and he has looked underwhelming this year so far.Unless he fixes up, I don’t see Drake making the podium this year.
So, if the Brands Bros retire at the end of the season, who takes over?
I'm thinking the best candidates would be Ben Askren or Kyle Dake. So, if the Brands Bros retire at the end of the season, who takes over?

I’d love it to be Ben Askren. Max can filter all the AWA kids his way. I just don’t see it happening,
Obviously waiting for Spencer doesn’t work, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they copied th Cowboys and went after Dake or Burroughs.
Very good points made -- in any case, I feel that the Brands bros should be on their way out. They just haven't had it in them to produce results lately. They have had a great coaching career, but they haven't evolved.Askren would be interesting but his wrestling style is kind of the opposite of the Iowa just bleed heritage style. Also his ongoing health with immunosuppressants required for the rest of his life would make a very public role like that difficult if not impossible.
Dake would be amazing but it sounds like dude might be crazy enough to be gunning for 2028 Olympics at 86 kg?
Burroughs would also be awesome. One of my son's teammates and his dad saw him at Super 32 and it sounds like he's focused on running his own wrestling gym and growing his son in the sport. Wonder if he'd down for a high profile coaching job like that ATM.
