I considered Spencer Lee to be unbeatable in HS. But I did read that he's had a torn acl since Jan.

Why do you say that

He's cut from the Gilman mold. Can't remember what match that I watched but I didn't particularly love how he handled himself.

I read somewhere that Cael didn't even go after he or Sasso for similar reasons.

Judging by that match you'd think DeSanto was the one going to Iowa not Lee.
To be fair if you take out Gilman and Ramos Iowa isn't that bad, I'll take Metcalf being a sore loser occasionally, Gillman and Ramos are just annoying

PSU should run away with it by the semi's.

Rumblings on themat have Santoro as possibly leaving Lehigh for Pitt which would be a huge get for Pitt and a huge loss for Lehigh

^^^Interesting. I was kind of hoping Pitt would go after a big name younger coach. WOnder who would take over at Lehigh? Buxton?

Wow.. I didn't expect Santoro to leave.. that does put him in western PA which the Nazareth coach said has become the best in the state

Sucks for Suriano. Also sucks for Noah Baughman from Cornell who would have gotten the spot if they pulled him Sunday.

Not sure if this changes PSU winning though.

From the posts I read on themat it doesn't seem like they are going to re-seed that weight and the Buffalo kid will get a bye to the next round. If they re-seeded that weight class Picc. from OSU would move down to the 7th seed and be on the other side of Gilman. Doubt he would've made it past Dance if he got to the 1/4'ers in that scenario but would've been an easier path to the semis then going through Gilman.
