My picks for this weekend:

Suriano
Yianni
Lewis
Dieringer
Moore
Cassar

Btw anyone have an update on Nolf? I’m assuming he’s not in this tournament because he’s still hurt.
Nolf is pursuing Greco believe it or not. So now NLWC should have Provisor and Nolf on the greco side.

Gotta love the coach arguing at table twirly bird for his tired kid

I think Cael said with the team trying to qualify for the Olympics, they were going to skip the holiday tournaments to rest up this year.

That said, Starocci looked great.

With all the injuries and question marks I think Iowa is a safe bet this year. They would have to royally screw up and underperform at NCAAs to lose. Penn State MIGHT have a chance if Shakur and Berge come back completely healthy (doubtful) AND Nevills has the tournament of his life. I think even Brooks is hurt right now too.

Somebody on Themat.com who says he works with/for Flo said J'Den isn't even telling training partners which weight he's going. He only ways in at home so nobdy knows.

Seems a tad ridiculous. I mean is there really THAT much of an advantage of keeping it a secret? You can bet guys from both weight classes are preparing for him regardless.

If I had to guess he's probably trying for 86kg but doesn't want to say until he sees how the weight cut effects his performance in the room.

I thought he was planning on training at the Ohio State University RTC with Terval Dlagniev (Snyder's old coach and training partner). If this actually comes to fruition I would imagine he is planning to challenge Snyder at 97.

He is training there.

If he is training with Snyder's coach Dlagniev, my money is that is going up to 97.

He was spending a decent amount of time training there with Snyder before officially becoming a resident, so there's a chance he would have gone even if Snyder stayed.

He also seems to be buddies with Snyder while there is no love lost between him and Taylor.

I'd prefer him go 97 because I think the cut is going to be too much but it looks to me like he's trying to get down to 86

I think everyone saw this coming already but Cassar and Conel are done for the year. Rasheed and Seth entering the lineup

Lot of U.S. entries for FS. 3 guys at each of 57, 65, 74, 86 and 97. 74 kg probably the most stacked right now (6 former world medalists). Dake v. Chamizo would be a fun one. Does anyone know if Nolf is healthy?
