Eat a dick ucla haters. MAYBE lunardi mkves them up to a 3 seed now in the east bracket.

i actually watched the whole zaga/byu game.

byu is actually pretty damn good. They defenitely looked like a tourney team. Eric Mika dropped 29 and looked like a guy who could stand out in any major conference. The gaurd duo of haas and emery can handle thier own on both ends.

As for zaga, that fat center karnowski got fucking torched. not only did his man drop 29 largely on iso plays, but he was exposed in pick and rolls too. He cant gaurd for shit. Every tourney team has to be licking their chops watching tonights game just hoping for the chance to light up the fat man down low.

Also i kept reading about nigel williams goss and jordan mathews being this awesome backcourt for them and i was like "these dudes were so average in the pac 12 how much better could they have possibly have gotten" Answer was not at all, they are still average ass dudes

It's not like bracletologists are hating on ucla

249 OOC SOS
3rd in conference
13th in Kenpom
15th in RPI

They also got 20 more FT attempts (compared to our 6 more in Gainesville).

Free throw discrepancy at Rupp... surprise, surprise.

Monk's really good though so I figured that a comeback was going to happen. Allen getting his 2nd foul put a stop to our momentum and then Cheese getting his 4th foul (I believe that Hill got his 4th not too long after) when the game was still close was the nail in the coffin.

I watched UF jack up 30 threes and shoot wide open uncontested layups/dunks. I think you'd have trouble finding uncalled fouls with that recipe of shots, but feel free to que up the video and show me otherwise

It's safe to keep low expectations for any team west of the Mississippi. At least until they break this 20 year drought

Since kenpom was released public (2002), the lowest ranked defense to win was UNC #20 (technically #21 by .2) in 2009. After that, the lowest Florida 2007 and Uconn 2011 at #15. Finishing rank.

Only once has a team outside the top 20 in both O and D won the title, Uconn 2014 (#10 D, #39 O)

Currently, Gonzaga, North Carolina, Villanova, West Virginia, UK and SMU are top 20 in both categories.

Here's a good site for monitoring bracketology if that's something you're in to

http://bracketmatrix.com/

nardi also moved ucla up to a 2 on his bracket this morning

Not to mention the bracketologists are just following the committee's lead:

http://www.ncaa.com/news/basketball...dness-top-16-seeds-revealed-first-ever-season

Teams historically get punished for garbage scheduling.

Maybe they win out, others lose and ucla ends up a 1 or 2 seed, but for now theyre projected accurately
ucla won every no con game they played including at the house of your boys. They cant control if michigan and ohio st and texas am and everyone else they scheduled are having down years. Isnt that the excuse the committe makes for zaga being a 1 seed, they beat who they play. Also over last 48 hours, mich, Uk and ohios st all picked up top 15 wins, hopefully that sos is rising. Add the fact ucla avenged all 3 of their losses to oregon, usc and zona and are riding a hot streak, no they are not seeded accordingly. Especially no reason to be behind UK who has more losses including to a tennessee team that wont make tourny something ucla hasnt done.

UK should of had Tx A&M's draw last year. Good luck with using logic on seeding

It was more about the ticky-tack fouls to take our guards out of the game.

Put the Zags in the ACC and they are middle of the pack. For that matter put UCLA in the ACC and they are the 3-4th best team.

lol you're right, UCLA would lose to georgia tech, and indiana like UNC did. Not too mention losing to Kentucky at home, I don't think UCLA could beat them.

nice try

Put UCLA in the ACC and name the top 4.
