MAAC Championship poppin off. Sam Cassel Jr. has a chance to make the tournament this year after transferring from doo doo shit loser team.

God Conference Tournaments are so pointless.

They literally make the entire regular season worthless to so many teams.

Just a cash grab for the conferences. The regular season winner of each conference should get a tourney bid. I dont want to see crap teams that are 15-18, 20-15, etc. in the NCAA tourney just because they had a good few day stretch. Its ridiculous.

I agree somewhat but...I am headed to Vegas to watch the Pac12 tourney. The second time I have done it. The first time was a blast and the basketball was great. Should be even better this year with UCLA and Oregon being legit.

Did they move the ACC tournament out of NC because of the bathroom law? There's just something wrong with it being played somewhere other than Charlotte or Greensboro.

They actually meant something up through the 1974 season because only 1 team per conference would go to the NCAA tournament.

Yes. And yes it is weird having it in Brooklyn. No biggie, though. UNC is going to win it anyway.:D

I think the ACC and Big 10 announced several years ago when they started poaching schools from the Big East that they would move their basketball tournaments to New York. (ACC wanted MSG, but the new Big East has the rights for a while so they went to Brooklyn instead; B1G doing their tournament a week early at MSG next year)

Not sure if the tranny laws affected the ACC tourny, but I believe it's preventing the NCAA from hosting any games at NC for the big dance.

Not sure how anyone can argue against Gonzaga as a 1-seed.

6-0 against top 25 opponents (5 on a neutral site/road).

Case closed.

Beating a ranked Saint Mary's team 3 times are half of their marquee wins, playing in the West Coast Conference and not facing any real competition the past 3 months.

They're going to be a 1 seed and not do anything memorable, with the exception of possibly losing to a 16 seed like they nearly did a couple years ago, which would definitely be memorable.

I'm not to sure. I would expect it though cause hey, screw us for not wanting to bend to sjw's.

Shit pisses me off lol.

Theres legit no incentive to have a great regular season.

Why go 16-0 in conference play when you have to have your season come down to a few conference games? Its just a money grab and it makes the regular season pointless for a lot of team.s

Well I doubt a regular season champion from one of the "power" conferences has been left out since the expansion in 1975 (and especially since the expansion to 64 in the mid 80s).
It's BS in the smaller conferences though. Some 17-16 NEC or whatever shit conference team is going dancing all based on 3 or 4 games. I remember years ago when Richmond (I think it was them) went 16-0 in CAA play (this was before they joined the A-10) and 27-3 overall but got left out of the NCAA tournament because they were upset in the CAA tournament.

So the dirtsheets are saying that Slappy is LSU or Mizzou bound and IU's gonna get Marshall.

I'm not even watching the ESPN broadcast (ACC Network on local affiliate) and they're already making excuses for Duke potentially losing to Clemson (a whopping 2 point difference still in the first half).
It was great to see Booger Boeheim lose his shit earlier when the Miami player jumped into a defender while shooting and got 3 FTs. Have fun in the NIT.

Jesus put that quote on his gravestone.

The one thing that does hurt them come Tourney Time is playing in the WCC. It's almost like culture shock once they face a big boi a couple games into the Tourney.
