It wasn’t until the quote that I realized you wrote “Magic” and not “Tragic.” My mind just autocorrects it to Tragic every time now lmao.

But Rodman is for sure a top 100 player. And Dumars too?

It's funny because at one point early in his career people called him Tragic Johnson lol

Didn't need to drag Kooby into this, but interesting nonetheless

Rodman wasn’t at that time though. He was coming off the bench.

What are there records against 70 win teams?

Pretty irrelevant stat since there's only been two 70 win teams in NBA history and MJ's Cows were one of them. Kinda hard to beat yourself (unless we're talking 2011 Finals) LMAO

Of course it’s relevant. LeGoat 1-0

Its also hard to face a 70 win team when the rest of the leeg is a bunch of mailmen and cans compared to your super squad

Swept twice......that with the DAL loss dont get forgotten
Never forget that Iverson won a game against the then undefeated in the yoffs powerhouse Lakers before getting gentlemen swept

And his cast was arguably worse than lebron ever had and he was 6' on a tall day

Still csnt believe I saw Bill Russell in my theater for Bohemian Rhapsody. And he fell asleep haha

Even ancient and hunched over hes still a huge lanky dude

Donyell Marshall at SeaWorld was super rando too

Jordan is better than Lebron, agreed!

However there is something to be said about longevity and consistency at the top, Lebron putting on the mileage at that top 3 level for that long, unmatched

Lebron going to 8 consecutive finals, with all the olympics in between is pretty good, certainly #2 without question

didn't take a mid career vacation, either

"I respect Isiah Thomas' talent," Jordan said. "To me, if the best point guard of all time is Magic Johnson, and right behind him is Isiah Thomas. No matter how much I hate him, I respect his game."

MJ is the GOAT talent evaluator. Every 1st round pick by MJ:

2001 Kwame Brown 1st
2006 Adam Morrison 3rd
2007 Brandon Wright 8th
2007 Jared Dudley 22nd
2008 DJ Augustin 9th
2009 Gerald Henderson12th

drafting players as an executive =/= assessing your peers who you actually competed against

MJ is a pretty notorious egomaniac/narcissist and prime Isiah is literally the only alltime great PG who he consistently competed/lost against. Dafuq you expect him to say

Lol except when he didn't, but ok

I mean you could make a case in 1995. No team has ever come close to that level of competition en route to a ship:

60 win Jizz
59 win Sons
62 win Spuds
57 win Tragic

All without HCA and the Rocks only seemed to get better as the yoffs wore on

Faust once again showing he's the top scientist in this thread.

That 1995 team gets overlooked but not only did they go through a murderer's row, they came in as the 6th seed. Plus, they won TWO series finales on the road.

Plus plus, they beat the #1, 2, 3, 6, 8, and 10 MVP vote-getters that year (Robinson, Shaq, Malone, Barkley, Stockton and Penny, in order). Insane stat! May never happen again.

Hard to call a team that finished 47-35 the GOAT but it's also hard to picture any team beating them during that playoff run. Maybe the 96 Bulls, but everyone else can GTFO.
