Not sure if its some injury, or if the Lakers have to many geezers that he has to cover up for but his defense has fallen off. On offense he has always kind of been streaky, putting up 18ppg performances and then 30+ I feel, and he's putting up 24 a game while sharing with Brick and Bron. The thing to me that's gone is that defensive edge he used to bring. His first season with the Lakers he was a top 5 defender. You wouldn't know it watching them now.

Hard to pin point any one thing to blame the Lakers performance when there are so many. Roster construction and lack of shooting, age, LeBron missing tons of games, fitting so many new people in to a new system, AD being soft and looking unmotivated, Westbricks horrific start (seems to have picked it up since then).

Some people point at just one reason. I say, why not all of them?

Wait until after the ASB when they all start cycling up. I think we will see an increase in defensive intensity and shooting % go up as well.

One of the biggest problem as I see it is they traded all their young players and defenders. I bet they wish they still had Caruso right now who is leading the league in steals. Honestly though, last year was kinda cool to see Bucks/Suns, not because I'm a long time fan of either team but because its something different. The league is wide open it seems and full of young up and coming players and teams.

Bronny sucks. He should stick to smoking blunts on TikTok. He’s a g league level player but lebron will tank some franchise and force them to draft him so he can fulfill his dream of playing with his son, even though it would make absolutely no sense at all for any franchise. Maybe Can Gilbert will let that happen.
 
LeBron James is a stellar athlete, and the derogatory claims from the MAGA crowd that he’s old couldn’t be further from the truth. I started taking TRT in my 60s in addition to 90 mg/day Adderall and I feel very youthful. My erections are so frequent that Stacy has threatened to file a restraining order against me in Buffalo, NY, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My old man hops on TRT when he takes his yearly 6 month trip to Thailand. Comes back in great shape, hops off it, starts taking the pots and ages like 10 years in a few weeks. Raves about how great it is though. Can only imagine taking Addy on the stack, it must be like taking a time machine and becoming Bradly Cooper from Limitless at the same time.

Letting CarusGOAT walk was a travesty. When you have a collection of antiques those energy guys are worth their weight in gold.
 
Mavs are a worse team than they were for the last 2 seasons.

Doncic's post game and 3pt game have diminished, plus the shooters are struggling to knock down key shots..

They had one of the highest rated offences last season.. what happened? Chemistry has disappeared.

Kidd has gotten Porzingis more involved, but they aren't winning, getting beaten by bad teams.

Really preferred the version of this team that had Seth Curry on it..

Skip and Shannon discussed this. Luka doesn't take his body seriously. He's been reporting to camp at 260 pounds, which is at least 30 pounds over weight, if not 40, and even now, 25 games into the season he's too heavy and gets tired in games. There is no excuse for a guy who just got a 200 million dollar max deal to report to camp at 260 pounds. The only example more egregious than this is Zion.

 
Lakers beat the Thunder , who are now the worst team in the NBA ever since Houston figured themselves out and won 7 in a row after losing 15.

Speaking of Houston, their streak got snapped after Giannis pu up 41 and 17 against them. Buck have won 11 of 13 and look poised to not jusr hand over the East.

The Cavs look like they are going to a difficult team in the east 7 guys scored in double figures and off the Bench Kevin love and Ricky Rubio are having solid seasons, their depth is going to make then a less than desirable match up if they keep this up.
 
Random Stat Lebron has already missed more games with LA than he did in his first 15 years with Cleveland and Miami.

Tends to happen when you’re in your late 30’s. Age has finally caught up to LeGoat. That’s why GAyD not living up to being a top 5 player is costing them. They would have been better off keeping Ingram and Bozo Ball

Ingram and Lonzo got better because of their exile , they actually could get better without the Pressure of Lakers expectations. Now Ingram just needs to get the fuck out of New Orleans and play for a contender just like Lonzo did by going to the Bulls.

Lebron is still great, he just can't carry a team full of cans like he did in his second Cleveland stint. Any Lakers struggles are on Westbrick and Anthony "Top 5 player in the League" Davis.

Other News Bill Russell auctioning off a lot of memorabilia, including his 11 Rings , Shaq is willing to buy that whole set. Russell is also putting his KB hat he has been wearing since Kobe died and giving the proceeds to foundation ran by Kobe's Widow.

The Pelicans said they are shutting down basketball activities so that he can heal. Zion is going to shutdown standing up activities if he gets any fatter.
